Dimensional fine art using mixed materials, rich pigment and unexpected texture to strike balance and drama.

My artistic vision is a juxtaposition between art and science; inspired by architectural assembly, geometric forms, tactile techniques and mathematical order. My artwork aims to solve a creative problem and communicate spatial balance to its environment. I create interpretations of color and texture through a mélange of materials; including textiles, plaster, lime paint and concrete pigment. The geometric order evokes a systematic quality, the dimensionality invites interaction and color is used strategically for impact or decompression. The artwork intentionally reacts to its surroundings by creating balance, sparking optimism and intrigue by use of thoughtful details and honest materials.

“There’s always room for one more.”

Diversity and inclusion are the real grounds for creativity. In tandem they must remain at the center of how we live in order to grow, evolve and thrive.

40” x 50” mixed media on canvas; with a custom douglas fir float frame

Diversity and inclusion are the real grounds for creativity. In tandem they must remain at the center of how we live in order to grow, evolve and thrive. This piece evokes, in a powerfully minimal and patinated way, the celebration of the unique layers that weave through the fabric of our lives and the lives of others. The missing piece signifies that “there’s always room for one more.” The structure of this piece creates beauty, the geometric order portrays a systematic quality, the dimensionality invites interaction and color is used strategically to summon warmth and embrace.
